Count Me In
I have known for a long time that I am called into ministry. I didn’t know exactly what that looked like but that I knew it involved writing and ministering to young people, especially girls, in Kenya.
Amazing Grace
Sometimes when you’re trying to look ahead and can’t see clearly, it helps to look back and see how far you’ve come. If you remember the things that grace has brought you through, then you have the hope that grace will keep you going the rest of the way.

I Failed… But, I’m Trying Again
As an adult, the thing to do when faced with setbacks is to keep your eye on the goal and adjust accordingly as you go along. This is where I failed; I took my eye off the goal.
I Moved To Kenya!
In November I found a ridiculously cheap flight for January 30th and I booked my one-way ticket! Thankfully I didn’t change my mind, and there was no flight cancellation, so I landed in Nairobi on Thursday, February 1, 2018.

I know that 2018 will be the year I experience the most joy I ever have. Not because only good things will happen this year. In fact, I think it might be the most trying year of my life. This year I will choose to be more intentional about finding joy in all things. Which is why my word for the year is a verb; “Rejoice”.

Sister, Sister!
One of the things that really stands out to me about my sister is her strength. She is, quite literally, the strongest woman I know. I hope that as I grow older, I can be as strong as her.
